Updates Re: COVID-19
LAST UPDATED: May 10, 2021
We continue to manage risk related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- At this time, as a company we are not requiring telehealth for all clients, allowing for some space for conversation for individual situations between clients and their therapist – with the comfort and safety of both parties being of high importance.
- Face coverings are required in the waiting room (i.e. face masks or face shields, unless a medical condition creates an exemption).
- As always, if you have been in recent contact with someone with a positive COVID-19 case or have symptoms, you need to cancel your appointment or switch to Telehealth.
- When individuals are fully vaccinated (according to CDC definitions, 14 days after their final dose) you have the option of attending therapy in person and unmasked with your therapist, if your therapist is also fully vaccinated and comfortable with this arrangement. You may have this conversation with your therapist when applicable.
As per CDC guidelines, “If you’ve been fully vaccinated: You can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart.”
Communicate with your therapist regarding any questions you may have. You may also contact Rochelle Matthews Stoltzfus (Founder, Clinical Director at IPC) by calling 717-322-4474 x1 or emailing Rochelle@InProcessCounselingLLC.com
We continue to grieve with you during this time of pandemic – with all the losses large and small that we encounter.
Thinking of you in this process. May you continue to adapt, practice coping, look for meaning, build resilience, find ways to connect with others, search for joy, and hold onto hope for the future.
Sincerely,
Rochelle
